ANNUAL ROAD HOCKEY TOURNAMENT
Each year the Wize Guys team up against our High Schoolers (Da
Crew) and face off in a "friendly" game of Road Hockey. Begun in 2007 by our Pastor Father
Freitas, to date the Wize Guys have won "The Golden Stick" all but
three years (when we let the high schoolers win).
Our parish is blessed with a "Parish Table" as part of the local
Knights of Columbus Council. Each year they sponsor a Pilgrimage to Midland for the "Living
Rosary", co ordinate the "Rose for Life" appeal on Mother's Day
weekend, which helps Pro Life causes, and the "Christ is Christmas" campaign in
December. They also host various dinners, including a New Year's Eve Dinner each
year. We are also very grateful to the Knights for the use of their Hall for
some of our parish social activities. For information on membership with the
Knights of Columbus contact Paul at 519 658 4079. The Knights of Columbus Hall is located on
Speedsville Road in Cambridge and is available for banquets and receptions.
Members of the Knights meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:00p.m.
