..... WAYS TO HELP ...............
Reaching Out and Giving
Twice each year, in the
Fall and Spring, our parish hosts a Service Saturday. This is a day when we, as
a parish family, go out into the wider community and lend a helping hand
to those in need. We have especially "adopted" several
charities: The Out
of the Cold "Bridges Shelter" located in Cambridge, and "Michael
House", a home for unwed mothers located in Guelph and Carmelite
Monastery in St Agatha; the residence for religious sisters (nuns) who are
cloistered and dedicated to prayer and contemplation for the life of the Church. Each
Spring our "Green Bag Saturday" collects clothing and household items
which are given to our local St Vincent de Paul Store which in turn pass it on
to families in need.
Give us a Hand
Our Welcome Desk and our Catholic Cafe are in need of a few
